Xbox360 Gaming Hype list

Okay so welcome back to part two of the hype list. In this list I will be looking at the Xbox 360 as well as a few other games from other consoles. I’m rather new in the Xbox scene so the list is rather short but it is sure to expand after E3.We’ll see

So first in the list is Fable2

Fable2

Fable(1) was one of the best games that I’ve ever played. Many people argue that it was one of the worst games that they have ever played (I’m looking at you NAG[south African gaming magazine]). All I can say is , what a bunch of fools.

I’ve subscribed to the Fable2 RSS news feed of their blogs.

Fable2 looks and sounds very impressive. I simply cannot wait. Lets just home this is a worthy sequel. Also Fable 2 is one of the major reasons why I bought an Xbox360.

Silent Hill :Homecoming

I honestly do not know what to expect from this game. I’ve been a silent hill fan for quite some time and will be waiting for this title. From what I’ve read it follows a soldier returning home to Silent Hill to find that the town has transformed into a ghost town. It gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.

Soul Caliber IV

Oh yeah. The hype train has been going on for a really long time about this one. Many forums and magazines go into soul caliber in such depth that I simple refused to read any more announcements or view anymore art until the game is in my hands. I am a little put of on all the hype around the appearance of the star wars characters. Don’t get me wrong. It sounds like a good idea , just over hyped at this point. I’ve also noticed rivalry between SCIV fans and Street fighter 4 fans.

Street fighter 4

Which brings me to Street fighter 4 . In my opinion the previous street fighter games were utterly dreadful. This is excluding Street fighter 2 of course. I’m keen to give this one a go. So lets go.

LEGO Batman

Okay after the really buggy Indiana Jones I’m left a little scared at the LEGO gaming franchise. LEGO batman looks good. What really attracts me to it is the length of the game. It will feature various villains and different story lines. Will this bat be riddled with buggy freezes?(pun sadly implied).

Okay that’s about it for the Xbox 360 list. Since it is quite short here is two playstation3 games that I will sadly miss out on.

Afro samurai

The anime was really good and being able to play and relive the anime is only good in my eyes. Be it the worst controls , camera views , a cradle of bugs . I will enjoy this game(Sadly I won’t actually – No PS3 = No Afro samurai)

Naruto Ultimate Ninja storm3

So I got Naruto –Rise of a ninja for my xbox but it sadely disappoints me with the lack of characters. Naruto UNS3 looks so good. I am kicking myself for not having a PS3 to be able to play this game. One day I will buy a PS3 and this game will be on the top of my shopping list.
